Lifestyle Talk With Jessica From Little Shop of Oils

Beautiful Jessica, welcome! It’s such a pleasure to have you on our blog. As the creator of Little Shop of Oils, what is your philosophy towards your business?

Thank you so much for having me on your blog today!

My philosophy has always been centered around healing and making people happy. I have struggled with anxiety and stress my entire life, and have always wanted to artistically create something of my own so I basically just started making things that made me happy!

nytime anyone orders I always like to also give them a little surprise as a thank you. It can be something as small as a bright indigo bag or a chunk of rose quartz.

If you were left in the woods with only one of your products, which product would you pick and why?

Ah! This is rough! I would have to say my Dream Mist.

This was one of the very first products that I had created for myself. I'm obsessed with essential oils ( obviously ) I probably use this product the most and would really miss it!  It helps keep me grounded and it's so pretty to look at!

And I couldn't deal without crystals in my life.

Nature is our muse here at Nabalo, she keeps us inspired and charged with positive energy, what is it that keeps you inspired and motivated?

I would honestly have to agree with you here- you took the words straight from my mouth!

I also like to surround myself with creative people, and honestly just one trip to the crystal store and there’s a million new products and ideas in my head. There energy is intense and magical and I have been drawn to them since a child.

I now have to tell this amazing story of me as a child. Growing up in the desert I would explore around and pick up different rocks from the ground and I would take them home, clean them, and with my little wagon go try and sell them to the surrounding neighbors so I guess you can say Little Shop started when I was 5 years old!

My mornings are sacred, they start with lots of self care and gratefulness (and coffee!) Can you describe your favourite morning ritual?

I like to switch up my morning rituals time to time.

Currently they start with a nice warm cozy stretch in bed. I like to gently wake myself up and prepare myself for the day. This is where the self care comes in! I always have to have my morning shower. I dry brush my skin, use one of my favorite handmade clay soaps (product sneak peak!)

Then its time to lather my skin in body oil! Right now my favorite is my Palo Santo // Bergamot body oil. Its grounding and uplifting and gets me ready for my coffee and breakfast!

I feel that the mornings are the most important part of your day and if you try your best to get as much self care in as you start your day- only good things can happen!

What is it that you are gifting the world through your creations?

I would hope that I am gifting happiness.

Everytime that I create something new for the shop (I do it all myself from beginning to end!) my goal is to make it the best present that you could ever receive!

Then I package it up all pretty and gold hoping to make your day just a little bit better. It’s the little things in life.

Thank you so much Jessica for giving us the chance to getting to know you and your products better, we are really grateful to have crossed paths with you. If you could pick five little things that you are grateful for today, what would they be?

Thank you so much Iris and Rolf! I to am really grateful that we have crossed paths!

I grateful for so much these days! But currently right now this exact moment  I am so grateful for the sun warming me on this cold day, my hot chocolate with just a tad bit of coffee, my dogs Vader and LadyBird being my little sidekicks, my friends and family, crystals and of course you for allowing me to showcase my pretty little things!
