Things I’m loving right now.

Baking. I’m really enjoying the smell of cinnamon coming from the oven. And pancakes, covered in ghee and maple syrup. And homemade granola with pumpkin spice.

Reading. I invested in a few new books on nutrition, fungi and ancient medicine. Can’t stop reading. I still need to find a good fantasy series for this winter though, one that I can curl up with on the couch under a blanket.

Waking up early. Normally I’m a night owl, but something is changing. I’m getting up early each day, before the sun. These dark hours are magic and I am loving this new routine that I have in the morning.

Ghee. I have been using @piorliving ghee (ghruta) as my moisturizer for a while now and my skin has never looked so good. Smells amazing too, especially with a drop of frankincense. It also makes for a great lipbalm.

Slowing down. This changing season has made me slow down to a delicious intentional and nourishing rhythm. My body is recharging and my mind is calm. I’m welcoming the colder months with open arms.

Mushrooms. I love growing them, I love drinking my @superfeast mushroom tonics and I love learning about them. Plus mushroom season was so good this year and we foraged boletes, chaga and more.

What are you loving right now? Which practices, things or activities are bringing you joy?
