How To Install Lightroom Mobile Presets

Start by downloading the Lightroom App to your phone.

  • Step 1: Download the DNG file to your phone via the link you received in your email. It serves as “preset carrier.” If you see the file as a blank picture on your photo roll, don’t be alarmed – that’s how it should look.

  • Step 2: Open the Lightroom app and create a new album by tapping on the + symbol. In this case we’ll name it Nabalo Presets. Then open the new album, tap on the 3 dots next to it and then tap on Add Photos and select From Camera Roll. Next, select the DNG preset from your camera roll and import them into the newly created album in Lightroom.

  • Step 3: Go into the album containing your newly imported DNG file. Open the file and tap on the 3 dots icon at the top right of the screen and then tap on Create Preset. Next you will see the New Preset screen. Fill in the preset name and under Preset group create a new group called Nabalo. Leave the checkboxes as is.
When you’re done with the settings save your preset by tapping on the checkmark icon at the top right corner. All done!

  • Step 4: To use your new preset open any photo you’d like to edit. Find the Presets icon in the menu at the bottom of the screen and tap on it. Make sure the Nabalo preset Group is selected because that is where you saved your new presets.
Just click on it to edit your photo.

You can still continue to edit the photo and make adjustments after you’ve applied the preset. Under Light and Color you will find everything you need. Here are some ideas.

Under Light.
Exposure : to make your photo lighter or darker.
Highlights : to bring our the white and light in your photo.

Under Color.
Temperature : slide to the right to make your photo warmer
.
Vibrance : to make your photos pop.

Thats it! Remember that higher resolution photos give you a better result, and taking photos near a window in natural lighting works best.

I would love for you to use the hashtag #nabalopresets under your posts so that I can see them out in the world and find you!
