I really like making my own products, here is the face mask I have been making recently. Tremella mushroom is the key ingredient in this recipe. Not only does it have many health benefits when consumed, such as boosting the immune system and improving skin health, but it can also be used topically to nourish and hydrate the skin. The clay powder in this recipe helps to detoxify the skin by drawing out impurities, while the raw honey provides antibacterial properties and helps to soothe and hydrate the skin.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp bentonite clay powder
1 tsp raw honey
3/4 tsp spring water
1/2 tsp tremella mushroom powder
Instructions:
Add the clay and tremella mushroom into a small bowl with a wooden spoon (avoid silverware touching the clay).
Mix in the raw honey and water to make a thick paste. Add more water if you'd prefer a thinner consistency.
Apply the mask to your freshly washed face in a circular motion.
Let the mask sit for 10-15 minutes or until it hardens.
Wash off the mask with clean hot water and a wet cloth.
Pat skin dry and follow up with your regular skincare routine.
