Hormone Boosting Maca Reishi Latte

I quit coffee in December and the first few weeks were a struggle.

But I felt a shift in energy in week three, I regained my energy that I normally only had after the caffeine and I didn't feel so exhausted in the afternoon. 

To "survive" my days without coffee I picked up (and rediscovered) my love for superfood elixirs. My morning elixir contains cacao and some yummy warming spices but it's the afternoon drink that I really look forward to! 

Check out the recipe below, it's a pretty simple but absolutely yummy elixir. 

Hormone Boosting Maca Reishi Latte

1 tbsp maca powder
1 tsp lucuma powder
1 tsp reishi powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp collagen or gelatin (optional, but recommended)
1 tbsp coconut oil or ghee
stevia or honey to taste
pinch of clove

Blend all the ingredients with two cups of your favourite tea or warm nut milk, pour into your fabourite mug and enjoy!
